CHF will limit the collection and use of personal information to the purpose directly related to the functions or activities stated during the collection. Without the Website user’s prior consent, CHF will not disclose any personal information to third parties.
Basic Statement
CHF collects personal information from the Website user on a voluntary basis. Personal information may include name, title, company, address, phone number, email address, etc. The personal information collected will only be used for carrying out the functions or activities stated on the information collection form on the Website. Personal Data of Donor
When making a payment by credit card or through the CHF online donation platform, your personal information will be encrypted during transmission. Your credit card information will only be collected by the relevant bank and the credit card company via their payment gateway for the purpose of processing the payment. Transactions of payments will not be produced in the CHF’s system and the bank concerned will not disclose any of the credit card information to CHF.
Other personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, will be encrypted during transmission to CHF for the purpose of recording the donation and sending the official donation receipt to the donor. Subject to your prior consent, you may receive promotional materials and update information about our work from CHF. If at any time you do not wish to receive such information, please email or write to CHF to cancel the consent. The cancellation request should be addressed to us by email at email address chf@childheart.org.hk.
User Information
When you visit this Website, our service provider makes a record of your visit. This record shows your domain name, server address, IP address, operating system, browser type and the webpages you have visited. Our service provider may also obtain information about your general internet usage to help us improve the Website by using “cookies” which are stored in your computer. Information gathered by using cookies may include the date and time of your visits, the pages viewed, time spent at the Website, and the web sites you visited immediately before and after our Website. The service provider only discloses to CHF aggregate information about the visitors. We will only use the information for preparing statistical purposes.

All personal information that Website user provides to CHF will be securely stored in the system with restricted access. Employees or agents who violate CHF’s privacy requirements are subject to disciplinary or legal actions.
